The more significant the designated area of application, the more complex the construction and the higher the material’s quality standards. Today’s state-of-the-art constructions are inconceivable without plastics. Be they visible or in-wall, plastic applications in building and construction can be highly complex products.

Exterior panelling for example, must be UV resistant, thermally stable and impact resistant; components for electrical installations must be made from flame-resistant material, while high-humidity applications require integrated seals.

In the broadest sense, moulded components for heating and ventilation systems can also be classified among construction applications. In addition to dimensional stability, properties such as resistance to oil, chemicals, high and low temperatures are also high on the requirements list.

The large-scale production of retaining devices, however, requires special equipment and particular attention to the production method. For these applications, we can design and manufacture multi-cavity moulds with 100 or more cavities for our customers.
