From small miniature plugs to high-grade housings, polymer materials are well established and have become indispensable in the E+E industry. Accordingly, the requirements vary as regards construction, material selection and processing method. For all of these applications, plastics offer one decisive benefit: the broad design flexibility and the corresponding potential for functional integration. Telephone housings, for example, are both, an attractive “packaging” and a carrier of interior electrical and electronic equipment. The versatile processing potential of polymer materials is prerequisite to the miniaturisation of many devices. The product manufacturing process requires maximum precision, an area that we are perfectly familiar with, as we have accumulated many years of experience in practical applications. Among other processes, we specialise in the fully automated and controlled production of electronic components with insert-moulded metal blanks. Naturally, we support our customers in their E+E projects: depending on the specification, we can start with material selection and assist customers in the optimisation of moulded components, create functional models or prototypes and supervise the project until it is ready for production. Thanks to our flexible production approach, we can economise in the production of both small and large batch sizes – around the clock and in three-shift production cycles.
