Design and reliable operation in the house

Be it high-quality housings for electrical kitchen appliances, small domestic appliances, carriers or functional elements within these devices, the range of applications for polymer materials is wide and manifold.

For the selection of suitable materials, criteria such as resistance to solvents and chemicals are as important as impact resistance and resistance to high and low temperatures. These properties are as essential as precision fitting, optically flawless surfaces and narrow tolerances for minimum gap widths.

During development, we focus on compliance with established guidelines and standards and we provide our customers with practical advice on component optimisation.

Plastics provide a broad flexibility for designers and construction engineers. This opens up new potential for cost reduction, e.g. by integrating a combination of several functions into one component. Multi-component technology for example, is perfectly suited to pooling several separate operation sequences in order to produce housings complete with integrated handles with attractive optical and tactile properties and a soft surface, water tanks with a transparent display window or keyboards with an inserted label.

If required, we will also carry out surface finishing projects. Component printing is included in our portfolio, as is chrome plating and painting.
